When a company creates a new product their main concern is how to get the word out about that new product. The more effective a company is at getting the word out about their product, the sooner they can begin making a profit off of that product. There are thousands of different ways that a company can advertise but one of the most effective ways is to employ a mobile advertising campaign to get the word out about their new product. A mobile advertising campaign is able to reach audiences that have never before been able to be reached. Mobile advertising allows companies to reach out an influence an entirely new segment of potential customers.

Mobile advertising is where a company purchases small ads that are placed within the apps and internet browsing capabilities on mobile smart phones. When someone downloads an app that they use on their mobile phone that app often times carries mobile ads along with it. A company can buy those mobile ads from the ad publishing company which will allow the company to put their ads in front of millions of potential customers. The ad publishing company will charge a small fee for every time a mobile user clicks on one of the ads.


This form of advertising allows companies to guarantee that they are only spending money on ads that will directly benefit their business. When a company chooses mobile advertising they can specify what target audience they want their ads to reach. Once this target audience has been reached they can continue to be confronted with the ad and further expose the potential customers to the new products and services available through the company that is sponsoring the ads.

When a new product is launched the company can put out a series of mobile ads that direct customers back to the company website. Even though the product has not been developed yet, smart phone users can click on the ad, be directed to the website, and read all about the upcoming product or service. This will create a buzz about the product that will lead into sales once the product actually launches. Once the product has been officially released the ads can change to state that the product has been released and the ads can direct potential customers directly to the page where they can purchase the product. This allows for mobile ads to greatly impact the launch of a new product.
