Historic Richmond covers 100 acres with restored houses and buildings. Explore this piece of American history that dates back to the colonial period. Another colonial house that is a registered landmark is called the Historic Joseph Horton House from 1752. Beautiful Dutch woodwork and craftsmanship make you wish you could go back in time to this wonderful period.

The Tribute to the World Trade Centre is a sombre place to visit. However, it is also is a part of American history that should be remembered. Walking tours and exhibits are located across the street from the World Trade Centre’s old site. This history museum is meant to touch everyone’s lives as they remember September 11, 2001.

If you have time, take a stroll through Central Park and listen to the sounds of the Big Apple.

In 2007, the Empire State Building was named America’s favourite architecture. In 1986, it was deemed a historical landmark. The Empire State Building has been in many Hollywood movies and has a certain romance about it. This piece of Americana built in 1930 is not only famous in New York City, but throughout the world.
