On the great lawn visitors can enjoy many free performances by the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera.

Known all over the world for its popular opera's and plays alike, is Broadway, where the theatres are landmarks in themselves and where many have flocked to be entertained nightly. A stroll though Times Square just a short hop away will reveal superstores like Virgin and Toys"R"Us.

Historic artwork has long been a favourite pastime for the people of New York, with many museums to choose from, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of modern art and the Museum of Natural History just to name a few. If museums are not you thing, New Yorkers also have a great desire to shop and with so many different stores to choose from, it is nothing short of a shoppers paradise.
